I have spent many hours on Porsche’s website configuring their cars. From a Macan GTS with Guard Red Seat Belts to a 911 GT3, with chalk seat belts, model delete, in silver, with a roll-cage delete, and everything in between , I love it. Usually I end up with an internal debate about whether the Cayman GTS is a better value than a 911 Carrera T (it is).
But, I’ve never seen this Houndstooth cloth insert option and I want to know how to get it. It’s my favorite. Yes—it has a manual.
I saw it at Isringhausen Imports in Springfield, Illinois. The build sheet doesn’t offer many clues either.
All that I know is that I want it badly.
A 911 GT3 with the touring package is the perfect GT car. Nondescript, classically styled, and fast enough to melt your face.
I want to put a roof rack with a topper on it and go winter camping in it.
Also, Isringhausen is a Porsche palace.

Not seeing anything from a cursory look through the online configuration but it might be aftermarket?

That’s interesting! I would be surprised if a dealer did this.

Usually if you’re a high volume client and order in person they’ll make anything for you.

Most GT3 Tourings I’ve seen had houndstooth, so it could be part of the Touring package, but it could also be Porsche Exclusive

Custom tailoring option on the window sticker. Porsche Exclusive is a great program.
